About you and this role

Dow has internship opportunities during first half of 2025 within its Information Systems organization for individuals who are in final year of graduation and are currently enrolled in a university working towards a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.

The interns will be located in one of Dow’s global IT centers in Mumbai, India. The duration of these internships is typically 4 - 5 months but can be altered to suit the college curriculum.

Interns will be involved in projects that are critical to moving forward Dow’s IT Strategy and digitally transforming the organization.

They will support critical business and technical needs for Dow business, research, and manufacturing functions around the world in a variety of process, tools & technology areas including but not limited to data quality, analytics & visualization, data warehousing, business process and ETL. This gives the interns an opportunity to work on Data Platforms & Analytics which is under the umbrella of Enterprise Data & Analytics at Dow.

Interns may also be involved in one or more of Systems Solutions, Information Security, Service Management and Business I/S, Operations, and IT Technology Architecture.

The incumbent may work together with support personnel from the United States; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Terneuzen, Europe; Mumbai, India; and Shanghai, China, as well as clients from any other Dow global location.

Intern may be hired into Dow as full-time employee based on their skill & capability and organizations demand at the time of completion of internship.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be in final year of graduation and currently enrolled in a university working towards a bachelor's degree in a related technical field. Preferred degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related degrees.
- A minimum 3.0+ cumulative GPA on a 5.0 scale at your current university is required.
- A minimum requirement for this India-based position is the ability to work legally in India on a permanent basis.
- They must have good judgment, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with diverse, global teams in an empowered environment.
- Strong human relations skills, teamwork, and flexibility are essential for success.
