**Job Description**:
Sanjay Ghodawat International School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Economics Teacher proficient in the Cambridge Curriculum, particularly in IGCSE and AS/A Level. As an Economics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction, fostering critical thinking skills, and preparing students for success in their academic and professional pursuits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum standards for IGCSE and AS/A Level Economics.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and independent thinking.
- Incorporate current events, economic trends, and relevant data into lessons to make economics concepts more tangible and applicable to students' lives.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their coursework, assignments, and assessments to support their academic growth and development.
- Administer and grade assessments, quizzes, and examinations in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of economics and education, including changes to the Cambridge Curriculum, and incorporate new knowledge and resources into teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, faculty meetings, and school events to contribute to the school community and further personal growth as an educator.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Economics or related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge Curriculum school setting with a focus on IGCSE and AS/A Level Economics.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum framework and assessment practices for Economics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a stimulating and enriching learning environment for students.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Proficiency in using technology and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
