Cold Storage Unit Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee cold storage operations, ensuring proper handling, storage, and retrieval of seafood products.
- Monitor and regulate temperature controls to maintain optimal storage conditions for fresh and frozen seafood.
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards as per industry regulations.
- Supervise inventory movements, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing shrinkage, and reducing product loss.
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of stock levels, temperature logs, and operational reports.
- Train and supervise cold storage personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient workflow.
- Improve storage efficiency through space optimization, FIFO (First-In-First-Out) management, and best handling practices.
- Assist in process enhancements to reduce operational costs, improve turnaround time, and enhance overall efficiency.

**Key Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cold storage, warehouse supervision, or seafood processing.
- Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics, temperature control systems, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and train warehouse staff effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
