Responsibilities:

- Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs for students, in line with the school's mission and goals.
- Manage and supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to promote the school's extracurricular programs and events.
- Evaluate students' progress and provide feedback and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student participation, progress, and achievements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and safety guidelines in the field of activity teaching.

Work experience:

- Previous experience working with children and young adults in an educational or recreational setting.
- Familiarity with a range of extracurricular activities, such as sports, arts, music, drama, or community service.
- Ability to adapt activities to different age groups, skill levels, and interests.
- Experience leading and managing a team of volunteers or assistants.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Patience and empathy in working with diverse groups of students and responding to their needs and concerns.

**Education**:

- A bachelor's degree in education, recreation, or a related field is typically required, though relevant experience may be considered.
- A teaching certification or licensure may be required, depending on the school and state regulations.
- Continuing education, such as workshops, conferences, or graduate courses, may be necessary to stay current in the field and maintain certification or licensure.
