Data Operations

Role/Responsibilities
- Build and lead a dynamic new analytical production team based in India serving customers needs for insight on corporate ESG profiles globally.
- Participate in relevant cross-discipline working groups tasked with successful start-up of MESG’s presence in India
- Ensure the day-to-day management of the ESG Analytics team in India and achievement of MESG’s ambition and target
- Act as a project manager for continuous improvement actions
- Contribute to quality management and/or production when needed
- Create a culture of learning and development amongst staff
- Foster a culture of strong controls and adherence to defined policies and practices
- Act as a Subject Matters Expert and as the first point of contact for questions and needs raised by local internal stakeholders on ESG analytics related topics to ensure the timely follow up and coordination

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an ESG-related role
- Knowledge of Corporate ESG Assessment processes, methodologies, tools.
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency of written and spoken English (working language), with ability to analyse, synthesise and editing skills
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), ideally with proven ability to manage large datasets in Excel
- Demonstrates effective speaking and communication skills with ability to cultivate strong relationships across a network of internal functions and external customers
- Demonstrated hiring and people management skills and ability to influence groups towards positive outcomes
- Operation management experience, including start-up of new team and track record of high autonomy in achieving business objectives
- Work effectively with team to accomplish organizational and strategic goals.
- Demonstrate time management skills to meet deadlines
- Problem solving and capacity to look beyond the obvious
- Demonstrate intellectual honesty, independence, thoroughness, rigor, conviction and sound judgment
