**Job Description: MongoDB DevOps and DBA Administrator**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a motivated MongoDB DevOps and DBA Administrator to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in database administration and DevOps practices, specifically focused on MongoDB environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Database Administration
- Assist in build and manage MongoDB databases and clusters
- Help perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations under supervision
- Support backup and recovery processes
- Monitor database performance and learn to optimize queries
- Assist in troubleshooting database issues
- DevOps Practices
- Assist in automating database operations and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with development teams to understand database usage patterns
- Security and Compliance
- Help implement and maintain database security measures
- Assist in managing user access and permissions
- Participate in regular security audits
- Performance Monitoring
- Help monitor MongoDB performance through various tools
- Assist in implementing and managing caching strategies
- Learn about indexing, sharding, and query optimization techniques
- Monitoring and Alerting
- Assist in setting up monitoring for MongoDB clusters
- Help maintain dashboards for database health and performance
- Learn to interpret alerts and contribute to issue resolution
- Documentation
- Contribute to documentation of database architectures and procedures
- Assist in creating and maintaining operational runbooks
- Continuous Learning
- Stay current with MongoDB features and industry trends
- Participate in relevant training and certification programs

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
- 2-4 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 year involving MongoDB
- Basic understanding of MongoDB architecture, including replication and sharding
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Understanding of database security fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Good communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts

**Location: Bangalore**

**Type: Full-time (no WFH)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹839,585.15 - ₹1,382,068.95 per year

- Day shift

**Experience**:
