**Job Description**:
Position Overview:
As a Counter Staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our establishment. You will primarily be responsible for assisting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they approach the counter.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our ordering system or forms.
- Providing product information, recommendations, and answering any inquiries from customers regarding menu items, pricing, or special offers.
- Processing payments using cash registers, credit card terminals, or other payment methods, and issuing receipts.
- Handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly, while adhering to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Preparing orders promptly and accurately, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborating with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter area, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and informing management when replenishment is needed.
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.
- Resolving customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling cash transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
