**Responsibilities:

- **
- Total responsibility of the Nursing Department.
- To be responsible for planning quality nursing care for the patients.
- Taking over the report from Nursing Supervisors daily (VIP & Critical patient).
- To determine the correct number of nursing personnel to achieve the objectives of the institution.
- To establish criteria for evaluation of the Nursing personnel.
- To conduct daily rounds in the wards and delegate work accordingly.
- To co-ordinate with other departments of the hospital for the smooth functioning.
- To develop an active recruitment plan.
- To attend H.O.D meeting promptly.
- To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
- To be aware of departments performance and objective.
- Organising regular In-service education to the nursing staff by the doctors and nursing personnel.
- Maintaining the discipline and systems in the department.

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Siruvachur, Perambalur - 621113, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
