**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Database Design and Implementation**:Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet business requirements.

**Performance Monitoring and Tuning**:Monitor database performance and proactively optimize queries and database structures.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal system efficiency.

**Backup and Recovery**:Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity.
Conduct regular backup tests and maintain recovery procedures.

**Security Management**:Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
Manage user access and permissions to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

**Capacity Planning**:Monitor and forecast database storage requirements.
Plan and implement capacity expansions to meet evolving data needs.

**Data Integrity and Quality**:Implement data validation and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with data stewards to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.

Collaborate with system administrators and network engineers for seamless database operations.

**Documentation**:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

**Incident Response and Troubleshooting**:Respond to database-related incidents and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Implement preventive measures to minimize the occurrence of database problems.

**Automation**:Develop and implement automation scripts for routine database maintenance tasks.
Explore opportunities for automation to streamline database operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in Database Administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with database clustering and high availability configurations.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Schedule:
