**What You'll do -**:

- We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 3) specialising in backend development to join our dynamic team.
- This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems and thrives in a product-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for our product suite.
- SystemDesign and Architecture:

- Design and implement complex systems and databases.
- Participate in and lead architecture discussions and design reviews.
- Ensure system designs meet business requirements and industry standards for performance, scalability, and reliability. CodeQuality and Best Practices:

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensure code quality with thorough testing, including unit and integration tests.
- Collaboration and Leadership:

- Workclosely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI, and QA, to deliver high-quality products.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

**What makes you a great Fit-**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies.
- Proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proven experience in designing and building scalable systems and microservices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in product-based companies, particularly in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
