Responsible for leveraging and continuing to develop and expand on deep functional, business and industry expertise to work on large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives. These projects involve technology change, business process redesigns and operating model reviews/ amendments. These are different from typical client initiated changes, business changes or existing technology platform upgrades. 1. Defines and drives strategy and innovative solutions to address current and future business challenges and achieving organizational objectives, efficiencies and advancement.2. Look across all corporate strategic initiatives to understand how the big picture initiatives link together in a holistic roadmap.3. Ensures transparency to the industry representation across the Bank, setting communication standards, and promoting NT within Industry groups and providing thought leadership. Drives industry change/thought leadership with relationships across the industry. 4. Oversee Client and Business Services Support responsible for supporting a mix of business initiatives and specific client support demands.5. Responsible for Global Services Change which includes:
- Intake - capture and vet all change requests to security and cash services technology. Outcome is to provide potential solutions to the requirements and the applicable L0/L1 costs and timeframes
- Solutioning - determine solution options and associated estimates - Execution - post project approval by appropriate funding body, own execution of that project from initiation to outcome delivery
- Research and innovation -identify and pursue support for new Global Services outcomes - internally identified or through external industry opportunities6. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise.7. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.8. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.9. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are requiredIn-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is requiredHighly flexible and adaptable to changeTechnical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. PeopleSoft) is requiredLeadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
