Roles and Responsibilities:
Events and Awards
- Conduct market research to identify new events, awards & other opportunities based on given criteria
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Plan and assist the team to generate leads through events.
- Ensure the event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
- Carefully read the awards criteria and questions.
- Prepares and maintains a yearly timeline for all current and emerging Awards initiatives ensuring that each Awards program remains on schedule from the nomination process through post-ceremony follow-up and programming
- Coordinates all pre-and post-Awards ceremony P.R./ media needs and requests.
- Provide concept notes and support materials to highlight the main points to the writers.
- Regular tracker updates of events, awards, and other marketing activities.
- Create new accounts/registration for platforms, awards, events

PR & Media
- Responds to requests for information from the media.
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media to increase company visibility
- Build connections with media and key journalists through a mix of channels, from traditional to digital and social.
- Ensure that our PR efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
- Forecast news cycles and identify areas of trending public interest
- Track media coverage and follow industry trends
- Prepare and submit PR reports

Webinars
- Assist with running a webinar program.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to plan and execute the webinar.
- Create promotional materials and plan campaign channels to generate registrations and grow the top funnel pipeline.

Job requirements:

- 3-4 years of experience in PR, Events & Media for B2B business
- Skilled in project management
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for marketing activities.
- Excellent organisational skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- Customer-service orientation
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- A degree in PR, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
