Job Summary:
As a telecom splicer, you will be responsible for the installation, splicing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables to ensure the reliable operation of telecommunications networks. You will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.

**Responsibilities**:
Fiber Optic Splicing: Perform fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and termination of fiber optic cables according to industry standards and project specifications.

Cable Installation: Install fiber optic cables in underground conduits, aerial systems, and inside buildings using appropriate tools and equipment.

Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct optical loss, OTDR, and other tests to ensure proper installation and performance of fiber optic networks. Troubleshoot and repair issues as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of splicing, testing, and maintenance activities. Complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate splicing equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

Continued Learning: Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and techniques related to fiber optic splicing and telecommunications infrastructure.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical education or certifications are a plus).

Previous experience in fiber optic splicing and telecommunications installation preferred.

Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TIA, ANSI, IEEE) and best practices.

Familiarity with splicing equipment, fusion splicers, OTDRs, and other relevant tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
