**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare equipment and ensure production settings are accurate
- Monitor daily operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary
- Supervising Loading and unload of furnaces.
- Perform routine checks on furnace equipment and related tools.
- Supervise operating related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required.
- Conducting tests and inspections of scrap, production, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Effectively & efficiently manage production according to certification and quality guidelines
- Pulls samples of molted metal from the furnace utilizing applicable tools and techniques and sends them to the lab for chemical and quality analysis.
- Ensures that all work areas are clean and free of any debris that can interfere in the production process or that could potentially cause a hazard for individuals in the Plant.
- Ensures that all required reports and production paperwork are completed.
- Performs other functions and duties as needed or requested.
- Equipment maintenance performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Manipulate controls and observe cells to monitor, adjust, and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms.
- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Liaise with Casting operator for the readiness of Rolling machine to ensure full production compatibility.
- Supervise production staff to ensure product quality and integrity, and ensure all finished product met or exceeded customer requirements.
- Responsible for day-to-day scheduling and setting up of rolling mill machines.
- Pulls samples of copper rod utilizing applicable tools and techniques and sends them to the lab for chemical and quality analysis.
- Assist the workers in the understanding of the productivity requirements and product quality characteristics to ensure company expectations are met.
- Work with all employees, either directly or indirectly responsible for, or involved in, the successful operation of the department by communicating necessary information in a timely manner.
- Exceptional safety knowledge to implement safety procedures, securing an accident-free facility.
- Perform quality control inspection, ensured safety procedures were followed, and that products were delivered per designated production schedules.
- Adheres to all applicable attendance and safety policies.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

**Experience**:
Minimum 2 years
