Andrologist

Position Title: Andrologist / Junior Andrologist

Department: Andrology

Reports to: Head - Operations / GM - Operations

Job Objective

To provide specialized expertise in all operational aspects of the Andrology Laboratory and support the achievement of lab objectives through effective clinical, technical, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Clinical Duties

Supervise and perform accurate diagnosis and preparation of semen samples for assisted reproduction treatments.

Oversee the receipt, analysis, preparation, cryopreservation, storage, and documentation of semen samples for Semen Bank patients.

Manage and execute both clinical (patient care, consultation) and administrative responsibilities of the Andrology Lab.

Coordinate assisted reproduction procedures for male patients with HIV/Hepatitis C in collaboration with other Nova Centres.

Facilitate the distribution and tracking of donor semen samples across NIF Centres.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to applicable health regulations and legal frameworks; adapt lab activities to meet evolving compliance standards.

Stay updated with scientific literature and emerging techniques in andrology to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

Conduct and contribute to research projects within the domain of andrology.

Laboratory Management

Monitor and optimize the performance and quality of laboratory equipment.

Perform and oversee routine cleaning and maintenance of lab materials as per established protocols.

Manage inventory of lab consumables and reagents; ensure timely procurement and restocking.

**Qualifications**:
M.Sc. in Laboratory Technology or M.Sc. in Andrology And BMS ,BHMS

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory operations within relevant domains, preferably in andrology or reproductive health.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
