**Reports To: Quality Analyst Manager**

**Position Summary**:We are looking for a Performance Tester to join our team of IT professionals. In this role, you will be suggesting ideas for automated software test procedures. Besides, you will highlight problem areas and track bugs hindering software solutions. As a Performance Tester, you will be liaising with the Developers and Project Managers to identify and test key features of software programs. Apart from automation, you should be able to find the prod issues and automate those flows/functionalities.

You will be investigating the causes of non-conforming software programs. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent troubleshooting abilities. We would love to have you on board if you have a strong technical background and can streamline all testing activities.

**Position Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**:

- 4+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- **Proven hands-on experience in JMeter is a must.**
- Set up the performance test process from scratch.
- Own the performance test process.
- Mentor QA team on best practices.
- Ensure the highest standard of testing is achieved.
- Work on the latest technologies and gain insight into new business models.
- Expand the scope and depth of your technical knowledge.
- Work alongside architects to set up the performance test processes.
- Identify bottlenecks, stress, load test and follow performance testing processes.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Developing performance testing strategy.
- Set up automated performance testing process.
- Developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability matrix.
- Ensure that defects are correctly captured, documented, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged.
- Other duties as assigned.
