**We are looking for a Senior Level position - GM (Operations) for a leading Spinning / Textile Mills company based at Coimbatore...**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the overall top and bottom-line performance of the Division.
- Initiate and sustain strategic initiatives towards Continuous improvement, Business Development activities, service and capacity planning in line with the Management objective.
- Head of Quality control for the Textile Division.
- Responsible for Preparing Capex and work out Divisions effective cost saving initiatives.
- Formulate business plan to explore new markets which would support the Division to be leaders in the industry.
- Develop and execute Human Capital and Technical strategies which would support in realising the Divisions EBITDA in line with the Management Strategy.
- Provide Complete Technical support to the teams in the Textile Division units.
- Identify the bottlenecks affecting the Divisions performance and take steps to eliminate such bottlenecks.
- Effectively implement Organisational Development initiatives such as PQCDMS, TQM which would enable total business transformation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Spearhead and drive Industry Best Standards with respect to Quality Control activities for the Textile Division.
- Examine and review customer complaints relating to product quality, late deliveries, etc. Ensure that such complaints are attended to promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a close liaison with important customers with the objective of receiving feedback on quality, service, etc.
- Champion the Daily routine management to ensure that the hygiene factors at the factory premises with regard to safety procedures, general housekeeping, environmental compliances etc are within the organisation standards.
- Focus and build on Production & Production capability.
- Submit proposals to the management for technological up gradation.
- Lead the team carrying out all common TPM activities like overhauling of machines, wire grinding schedules etc for the Textile unit.

Education: Diploma / BE/B.Tech (Textile Technology)

Experience 20-25 years
