**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and standards.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including lectures, hands-on experiments, multimedia, and group discussions.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and student participation.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures to maintain discipline and respect among students.
- Promote collaborative learning and teamwork through group activities and projects.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams to support student growth.
- Track and record student performance and communicate results and areas for improvement to students and parents.
- **Experimentation and Practical Learning**:

- Conduct laboratory experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to deepen students’ grasp of scientific concepts.
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all experiments and practical sessions.
- Encourage students to develop hypotheses, conduct experiments, and analyze results to foster critical thinking skills.
- **Student Engagement and Support**:

- Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science by engaging students with thought-provoking questions and challenges.
- Offer guidance and encouragement to foster students' academic and personal growth.
- **Professional Development and Collaboration**:

- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning.
- Work closely with other teachers and department heads to ensure curriculum consistency and share teaching resources.
- Stay updated on advancements in science and effective teaching methods.
