**Expeditor (Fixed Term Employment : One Year)**

**Reports to**:Team Lead & Purchasing Manager**

**Shift Timings : 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM (5 Days Working. Weekend Off)**

**Work Condition**: Permanent Remote Work

**Employment Type**: Fixed term for One year

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Purchasing Operation, by way of Order Confirmations, follow up on Past Due orders and Expediting orders in. An Expeditor is primarily responsible for performing daily assigned tasks that are in direct support of the Purchasing Operation. Often, these tasks might be as a result of a request from the customer. This individual must be flexible in switching priorities for a given day and the task assigned. The individual must show professional interaction skills with the customer.

**Important Things You Will Bring**:

- Provide comments (into the system reports) on the status of the unconfirmed orders.
- Escalate all aged unconfirmed orders to Management.
- Notify buyers of the status of their orders if there is a problem.
- Using the provided daily system reports, call on orders that are Past Due their required delivery dates.
- Escalate to management, all issues with Past Due orders that will potentially create a service interruption to the customer.
- Notify buyers of the status of their Past Due orders if there is a problem and the buyer needs to get involved.
- Provide comments (into the system reports) on the status of the Past Due orders.
- Provide weekly updates on the progress and status of Order Confirmation and Past Dues.
- Expedite emergency orders.
- Review and clean up discrepancies in the ordering system/Receiving/AP.
- Maintain communications with Staff, Suppliers and End Users.
- Successfully manage and complete any special assignments assigned to the individual.
- Completion of assigned special assignments.
- Provide weekly updates on the progress and status of Order Confirmation and Past Dues.
- Maintain Unconfirmed and Past Due orders to a low level as required by the customer.
- Communication with supplier for on time delivery.
- Help maintain customer satisfaction at an above average level.
- Must possess and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Time management skills.
- Working knowledge of MS office and general IT and computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and provide results.
