Responsibilities
Edit raw footage and assemble it into high-quality videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and appropriate effects
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and deliver video content that meets their specifications
- Use video and audio editing software to enhance visual and audio elements of the footage
- Color grade and correct videos to ensure consistency and enhance the overall look and feel
- Add text, graphics, and other visual elements to video content as required
- Collaborate with scriptwriters and producers to ensure that the video content aligns with the project's goals and objectives
Proven work experience as a Video Editor in the broadcast media industry
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Solid understanding of video production processes and best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative and artistic mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
