**We are looking for an expert who can**:

- **Optimize Website Performance**: Drastically improve page load times across all screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop) to deliver a lightning-fast Browse experience. This includes, but is not limited to, optimizing code, images, caching, and server configurations.
- **Enhance User Experience (UX/UI)**: Implement user-friendly design changes and optimize the overall site navigation and layout to ensure a pleasant and intuitive customer journey.
- **Automate Data Sync**: Establish a robust connection with our backend database to enable automatic, real-time updates for pricing and quantity.
- **Ensure Smooth & Fast Loading**: Develop and implement solutions that result in a consistently smooth and fast-loading website, even during peak traffic.
- **Provide Magento Expertise**: Leverage deep knowledge of Magento architecture, best practices, and module development to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a comprehensive audit of our current Magento environment to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize website speed and performance.
- Collaborate with our team to implement user-friendly design and functionality enhancements.
- Integrate our backend database with Magento for automated pricing and quantity updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any Magento-related issues.
- Ensure the site is fully responsive and performs flawlessly on all devices.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and recommendations for future improvements.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Proven expertise as a Magento Developer/Expert with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Extensive experience with Magento 2 (mention specific versions if relevant, e.g., "Magento 2.x").
- Deep understanding of Magento architecture, themes, modules, and extensions.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Demonstrable experience in website performance optimization (caching, CDN, image optimization, code minification, server configuration).
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to implement user-centric designs.
- Experience with database integration and API development.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Magento Developer Certification(s).
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO best practices, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Familiarity with sporting goods e-commerce.
