Job Description: Punching Machine Operator**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up and operate punching machines to cut, shape, or form metal or other materials as per specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed rate, and die alignment, to ensure precise output.
- Load raw materials onto the machine and ensure proper alignment for efficient operation.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve defects or inconsistencies in the output.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks and production outputs.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure the machine is functioning optimally.
- Troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical or operational issues during the production process.
- Report major machine malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor promptly.
- **Material Management**:

- Monitor material usage and ensure adequate supply during production runs.
- Safely handle and store raw materials, tools, and finished products.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow workplace safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure that the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to achieve optimal efficiency.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate production logs, including details of shifts, outputs, and downtime.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and issues.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with quality assurance and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Proficiency in operating punching machines (manual and CNC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of safety and operational standards in a manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
- Involves working in a manufacturing setting with moderate noise and physical activity.
- Requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials occasionally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
