Role Summary

WSP india is currently seeking a CAD Corodinator - Roads for AU Mining infrastrcuture, Who shall be responsible to lead a team, for creation and editing of drawings in compliance with WSP CAD Standards and detailing practices as well as producing high quality output using Civil 3D, Auto CAD.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for basic CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the Engineer
- Providing design and drafting services for roads design team for the concept, preliminary and detail design phases of a project;
- Create a continuous surface that you can use to display contours and elevations accurately
- Experience on roadway design, including creating corridors, subassemblies, road grading, and surface work.
- Responsible for all drafting for a particular discipline
- Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy
- Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with WSP AU CAD Standards, detailing practices and agreed timescales
- Having experience in road features, lanes, side-slopes, ditches and curbs
- Completion of CAD tasks received from Engineers and CAD Coordinator
- Coordinate and support the Complementary Resources Centers (CRCs) CAD team
- Generate sections / schedules / schematics from general arrangement drawings
- Ensure drawings are issued, and filed in an appropriate manner
- Conversion of ACAD drawings to other formats such as DWF & PDF
- Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
- Develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field
- Contribute to technical capabilities of the CAD team as a whole
- Attend and contribute in team/project meetings as required
- Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy.
- Support the companies approach to sustainability
- Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP AU service to clients
- Lead by example and ensure QMS compliance across team

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant discipline draughting service with ACAD, CIVIL3D.
- Minimum of 8-12 years relevant work experience using AutoCAD, CIVIL3D.
- Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
- Experience in the supervision and mentoring of other CAD technicians.
- Good working knowledge of the relevant discipline
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Familiar with working in a LAN environment

Working knowledge of BIM software packages.
