- The incumbent is responsible to design in his core domain as per approved model strategy state of art engines and technologies, further improve existing products and components, support the team engagement in engine technology and research related activities and ensures delivery within CTQ parameters.**A Day in the life**
- Design of crankshaft, con rod, piston, bearing, valve train, rocker shaft, cam train, balancer system, air intake system, Muffler, transmission, shift system design, starter system, radiator, chain &tensioner system, oil seals, clutch, throttle body, crankcase, cover, cylinder head, cylinder block, cylinder block, CVT system.
- Engine layouting.
- Hands on expertise in design tools (CATIA, Proe, KISSOFT, Romax,CRUISE) (Any of the keywords)
- Understanding engine development process
- Understanding and experience in design methodology with front loading
- Proven record of (substantial) work on gasoline and 2 wheeler engines
