**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Provide acute care for patients with urgent eye conditions.
- Manage ongoing care for senior patients, addressing their unique ophthalmic needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in ophthalmology to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients with co-existing health issues.
**Skills**
- Proficient in aseptic technique and surgical procedures related to ophthalmology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to the eye and visual system.
- Experience in acute care settings, managing urgent ophthalmic conditions effectively.
- Familiarity with senior care practices, ensuring appropriate treatment for elderly patients.
- Post-residency experience is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Competence in managing medical records accurately and efficiently.
