As a DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to work with functional delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and building patterns and frameworks to be used by engineering teams.
- Taking ownership of projects and ensuring timely delivery.
- Providing escalation assistance to engineering teams.
- Diagnosing system and network failures under pressure.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and immutable infrastructure.
- Keeping abreast of new technologies and changes in the industry.

**Must Have Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of AWS (mandatory) & GCP cloud services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Kustomize /Helm, etc.)
- System architecture and design.
- Experience with Bash/Python/Golang scripting.
- Experience of building and maintaining containers.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration and Linux CLI.
- Experience of building highly secure and resilient systems.
- At least 4+ years DevOps experience.
- Proven working experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Circle CI.
- Proven working experience in automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast, agile environment.
- Clear speaking, listening and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to negotiate and influence.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict.

**Desired Skills**:

- Some knowledge or experience of Jira, Confluence.
- Awareness of micro-services architecture.
