We are creating workflow management for Judicial sector where Jupitice is a use-case. We do have our own marketplace. Our principal organization is existing for over three decades by the name of Aeren IT Solutions Pvt Ltd and we are expanding quickly. Currently we are touching a headcount of almost 1000 employees and counting more. We have already invested 390 Million INR in this product and we have raised Pre Series A 4 million USD from a recognized Start up and funded by the world largest LPO. Our innovative and growth-oriented technology organization is looking for "Sr. Legal Counsel" who work with our Technology Team and our Stake Holders. Prior Expertise: - Having working experience with Corporate Houses or Corporate bodies - Have assisted their Employer in resolving long-running disputes via negotiations and mediation and being as lawyers also served as arbitrators before multiple arbitral tribunals. - Legal Professional having specialization in corporate laws, Civil Laws, Criminal Laws, Real Estate laws, IP Laws, Tax laws, Arbitration laws, Labour Laws and Consumer Laws. - Provide legal advice and guidance to the company's management on various legal matters related to corporate operations, software development, intellectual property, contracts, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including software licensing agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and employment contracts. Ensure that the company's interests are protected and that contracts comply with legal requirements. - Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices that may impact the software company's operations. Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. - Handle or assist in the resolution of legal disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and commercial litigation. Work closely with internal teams and external counsel to develop litigation strategies and represent the company's interests in negotiations or court proceedings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company, including engineering, product development, marketing, and finance, to provide legal support and advice. - Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's Technical team in implementing legal initiatives, anticipate legal issues, and provide recommendations based on applicable laws, regulations, and legal precedents. - It's important to note that the specific job responsibilities of a corporate lawyer in a software company may vary based on the company's goal, industry, and legal needs. Additionally, legal requirements can vary between jurisdictions, so local laws and regulations will also shape the role of a corporate lawyer in a software company.
