**Position**:Prosthetic and Orthotics

**The Community Health Division of the Bangalore Baptist Hospital** is the implementing agency for the **District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC)** situated in the Dodfdaballapura Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka. It is a collaborative project with the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizen, Government of Karnataka.

As a Prosthetist/Orthotist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients with limb loss or musculoskeletal impairments. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, functional abilities
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Designing and fabricating custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using advanced materials and technologies.
- Providing ongoing support and adjustments to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and functionality of devices.
- Educating patients and their families on proper use, maintenance, and care of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

**Qualifications**
- **Bachelor's degree in Prosthetic and Orthotics from an recognized university/department**
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and materials science.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate demeanor and dedication to patient-centered care.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Previous clinical experience or internships preferred.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
