**Location**: Tieten Medicity Hospital, Kasarvadavli
**Reports To**: Pharmacy In-Charge / Head of Department

**Job Summary**:
The Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations, and providing drug-related information to healthcare professionals and patients. The role ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care within the hospital.

**Key Responsibilities:Dispensing & Patient Care**:

- Dispense prescribed medications accurately to inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide appropriate information on dosage, side effects, and storage of medications.
- Check prescriptions for errors and ensure patient safety.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain stock levels, check for expiry, and coordinate reordering of medicines.
- Receive, label, and store stock following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of drugs received and dispensed.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Adhere to hospital protocols, pharmacy policies, and drug control regulations.
- Maintain records of narcotics and schedule drugs as per guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external pharmacy audits.

**Coordination & Communication**:

- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding drug availability and alternatives.
- Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions as per protocol.
- Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices when required.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area.
- Maintain logs, reports, and computerized billing entries where applicable.
- Participate in stock verification and audit processes.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institute.
- **Licensure**: Must have a valid Pharmacy License.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of drug names, classifications, and interactions
- Accuracy in handling prescriptions and billing
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Information Systems)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
