**Description**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Daily Animal Care**: Ensure the daily care and welfare of the animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behavior. Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian.

**Herd/Flock Management**: Assist in managing the herd or flock, including sorting, tagging, and weighing animals. Help with the implementation of biosecurity measures and maintain accurate records of animal movements and treatments.

**Facility Maintenance**: Assist in maintaining and cleaning animal housing facilities and equipment. Help identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the animals.

**Assisting in Breeding and Reproduction**: Support breeding programs by monitoring estrus cycles, assisting with mating procedures, and maintaining breeding records. Help with the care of newborn animals and assist in addressing any birthing complications.

**Record Keeping and Documentation**: Assist in maintaining accurate records of animal health, production, and other relevant data. Ensure that records are properly organized and easily accessible for reference and compliance purposes.

**Health and Safety**: Adhere to health and safety protocols to protect yourself, the animals, and fellow workers. Follow proper procedures for handling and administering medications, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean working environment.
