**Summary of Job Role**:
This role will work within the Research Department and will be responsible for accurately collating, recording, and interpreting market data, providing a responsive service to our clients, brokers, and management. You will project manage original research and consulting engagements and contribute to group client marketing and relationship building.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Research, collate, audit and input data accurately into our proprietary databases
- Respond to our shipbrokers, management and broking clients research and consulting requests, including assembling, organisation and distributing data sets, data reports and charts
- Ensure our proprietary database (Trigonal) and forecasting models are kept up to date and accurate
- Support our role as an LTBP (Worldscale) member and for Baltic Exchange Indices
- Competently complete ad hoc data research project requests in a timely manner

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Min of 3 years working experience with data processing
- Good knowledge of database systems (SQL server and databases, Microsoft Access, MS Excel)
- Data cleansing, data processing, some data analytics may be required but not mandatory
- Good command of written and spoken business English
- Attention to detail as this role will require a lot of database auditing and data entry tasks
- Knowledge of the maritime industry is a huge bonus
