Summary of Position:
Develop, build, configure, customize, integrate and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective planning, delivery and maintenance of B2B/EDI integration solutions to be used in support of Alcon IT strategy. This includes the following areas:

- Communication/Change Management
- Project Documentation
- Resource/Budget guidance
- Configuration/Setup
- Training
- Sustained maintenance and operations planning- Ensuring compliance to applicable standards (e.g. ICE, IGM, SOX, EDI as applicable, other regional and local as appropriate)

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

- Education:
Min Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field

Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field
- Experience: 7+ years of applicable experience
- Has 4-7 years of B2B/MFT/EDI expertise. Experience using IBM Sterling Integrator and integration knowledge with SAP is preferable.
- Able to manage/coordinate projects from initiation through launch.
- Required experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms and relevant XML EDI Standards
- Desired experience with communication protocols including AS2, SFTP and Connect Direct with interaction directly with the Trading Partner or Value Added Networks (VAN)

Language

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
