**POSITION OVERVIEW**:

- The Pharmacist ls Responsible For Ensuring The Safe And Effective Use Of Medications By providing Pharmaceutical Care To Patients.
- They Must Maintain Accurate Patient Records, Dispense Medications, And Provide Drug lnformation To Healthcare Professionals And Patients.
- The pharmacist May Be lnvolved ln Medication Therapy Management, Drug Utilization Review, And Other pharmacy Related Activities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Dispensing Medications**: Accurately Fill Prescriptions And Ensure That Patients Receive The Correct Medication And Dosage.
- **Patient Counseling**: Provide Counseling To Patients On The Proper Use Of Medications, potential Side Effects, And Drug lnteractions.
- **Medication Management**: Monitor Patients' Medication Regimens For Effectiveness And Safety, Making Recommendations For Adjustments As Needed.
- **Drug lnformation**: Serve As A Resource For Healthcare Professionals And Patients, providing lnformation on Medication Therapy, Drug lnteractions, And Adverse Effects
- **Compliance**: Ensure Compliance With All Relevant Laws, Regulations, And pharmacy policies And Procedures.
- **lnventory Management**: Maintain Appropriate tnventory Levels Of Medications And Supplies, Monitoring Expiration Dates And Ensuring proper Storage.
- **Collaborative Care**: Work Closely With Other Healthcare Providers To Optimize Patient Outcomes And Coordinate Care.
