**Reporting To**

**Job Objective**

To maintain appropriate inventory level of gas cylinders and ensure uninterrupted supply of medical gases to the medical units.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Maintains Gas cylinder stock**
- Daily count of gas cylinders
- Receives empty cylinder from various departments
- Issues new cylinders to the user departments
- Sends the empty cylinders to the company for refill
- Receives the refilled cylinders form the company
- **Drains the receiver of after cooler**
- Opens the valve of the air vessel for 5-10 seconds
- Closes the valve tightly once the moisture is released
- Repeats the procedure after every 3 hours
- **Daily checks / Preventive Maintenance as per schedule**
- Checks pressure levels at which the gases are pumped
- Pipe leakages
- Oil level of air compressor and vacuum pumps
- The bulk and B type O2 cylinders in O.T
- A.G.S.S machine
- Repairs the outlet points of gases at their respective places
- Ensures supply of nitrous oxide and oxygen gases air and suction to wards, Heart stations, Cath labs and Operation theatre rooms
- Checks the oxygen cylinders in the ambulance before any call
- Changes the outlets points of the Ventilators, Heart Lung Machine, Anesthesia Machine
- **Conducts repair work of choked suction in OT and Cathlab Pendants**
- **Handles complaints relating to plant operations**
- Notes down the complaint in the complaint register
- Attends the problems based on priority of criticality such as attend to complaints from OT, PICU, and Recovery & HCC.
- Gives the feedback to the reporting officer
- Notes down the complaint which is unsolved
- Informs the officer about complaint which is unsolved

**Desirable**

**Qualification**:
12th + I.T.I Diploma in Filter trade / welding

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
