**Role: -**

The video editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting or publishing. The role involves selecting and organizing footage, trimming and splicing scenes, adding transitions, effects and audio, and ensuring that the finished product meets the required technical and creative standards. The video editor works closely with the creative team to ensure that the final product aligns with the company's branding and messaging objectives.

**Responsibilities: -**
- Assemble recorded raw material into a finished product using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After effect, Filmora or Final Cut Pro
- Trim and splice footage to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product
- Add transitions, effects, and audio as needed to enhance the final product
- Ensure that the finished product meets the required technical and creative standards
- Work with the creative team to align the final product with the company's branding and messaging objectives
- Stay up to date with the latest video editing software and techniques

**Desired Skills & Experiences: -**
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in video editing
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After effect, Filmora or Final Cut Pro
- Strong creative and storytelling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with graphic design and motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus
