Job Title: Company Secretary
Job Location: New Delhi, India
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that Harris Communications India Pvt. Ltd. complies with corporate secretary statutory law in India.
- Assist senior management has the right guidance and tools to execute its legal obligations to shareholders is an essential responsibility of a company secretary.
- Convey and interpret laws and legal judgements to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain business records, papers and content to ensure that they accurately reflect the decisions of the board.
- Manage stockholder relations and keep records of communications with stockholders, stock issuances and transfers or proxy statements.
- Organize and coordinate board meetings to ensure their effectiveness.
- Oversee several aspects leadership meetings, from creating the agenda to setting up the logistics.
- Provide advice on matters like subsidiary management and governance and the leadership's roles and obligations.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Certified as a Company Secretary graduate.
- Member of the Chartered Secretary Association.
- Previous experience as a Company Secretary and corporate governance
**Skills and Experience**:
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of law and finance
