Cloud Security

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cloud Security Architecture**: Design and implement secure cloud architectures for various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ensure the security of cloud environments through best practices, secure configurations, and automation.
- **Security Standards & Guidelines**: Develop, implement, and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures across cloud infrastructure and services.
- **Risk Assessment & Compliance**: Conduct cloud security assessments, risk analyses, and audits. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.
- **Identity & Access Management (IAM)**: Manage and optimize cloud-based IAM strategies. Implement secure access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- **Encryption & Data Protection**: Design and implement data protection strategies for cloud environments, including encryption at rest and in transit.
- **Collaboration & Consulting**: Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to provide guidance and ensure the implementation of secure cloud solutions.
- **Incident Response & Monitoring**: Proactively monitor cloud environments for security threats. Respond to and mitigate any security incidents in real-time.
- **Cloud Security Automation**: Leverage DevOps tools and technologies like **Terraform**, **Python**, and cloud-native security services to automate cloud security processes and integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.

**Must-Have Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience with cloud platforms, risk assessment tools, identity management, and data encryption.
- Develop standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environments (e.g., client-server, distributed, mainframe).
- Knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles
- Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Plan, study, and design a robust security architecture for various IT projects.
- Develop prerequisites for networks, firewalls, routers, and other network devices.
- Perform security testing, and risk analysis.
- Research and implement updated security standards, systems, and best practices.
- Create standards for all IT assets, such as routers, firewalls, LANs, WANs, VPNs, and other network devices.
- Proficient in Python, Terraform, and DevOps pipeline setup

- Experience of configuration management tools such as ansible, chef, puppet.
- Will be preferred
- Technical certification on Security (AWS Security, Azure Security, GCP Security certifications)
- Terraform associate, SysOps certifications or similar
- Experience on securing network, data, and access. Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) (4) Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or simila

**Good to Have**:

- **Security Frameworks**: Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., **NIST**, **ISO 27001**, **CIS**).
- **Configuration Management Tools**: Knowledge of configuration management tools such as **Ansible**, **Chef**, or **Puppet**.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Advanced Certifications**:CISSP**, **CISM**, **CCSP** (Certified Cloud Security Professional), or other related certifications.
- **Cloud Security Tools**: Experience with cloud security tools (e.g., **AWS Shield**, **Azure Security Center**, **Google Cloud Security Command Center**).

**Education Criteria**:

- **Academic Performance**: Minimum 60% throughout academics.
- **Degree Requirement**: A 3-year regular course, such as **B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / BCA / M. Tech / MBA** or equivalent.
