1. **Guest Service**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist guests in seating and provide information about the menu and daily specials.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously.

2. **Staff Supervision**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers.
- Provide training to new staff and ongoing training to existing team members.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback for improvement.

3. **Service Coordination**:

- Oversee the flow of service in the dining room to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and synchronized dining experience.
- Manage reservations, allocate tables, and accommodate special requests.

4. **Upselling and Promotion**:

- Promote daily specials, promotions, and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Stay informed about menu changes, ingredients, and wine selections to make recommendations.

5. **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all aspects of the dining room are set up and maintained according to established standards.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain food and beverage quality.

6. **Customer Relations**:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take proactive measures to enhance the overall customer experience.

7. **Billing and Payment**:

- Oversee the billing process and ensure accuracy in guest checks.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a secure cash handling process.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or captain role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

**Working Conditions**:

- Restaurant Captains often work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 per month
