**Role Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Scientist (ML3) to lead and mentor the development of advanced ML solutions. This role requires not only deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset but also the ability to translate complex business challenges into impactful machine-learning implementations. You will drive multiple high-impact projects from conception to production, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that seamlessly integrate with enterprise systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Technical Leadership**:

- Lead, design, and deploy multiple ML projects in production with demonstrable business impact.
- Mentor and guide junior ML scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Track and learn from constant innovations in the field and integrate the latest developments into solutions.

**Advanced ML Development**:

- Architect and implement advanced ML solutions using Python, leveraging large datasets and cutting-edge methodologies.
- Develop and optimize ML APIs for seamless integration with enterprise systems.

**Strategic Collaboration**:

- Translate complex business problems into technical strategies and actionable ML projects.
- Effectively communicate technical insights and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Innovation and Best Practices**:

- Stay ahead of emerging trends in machine learning, deep learning, and AI, integrating state-of-the-art techniques into our product roadmap.
- Drive initiatives to continuously improve ML infrastructure, model performance, and deployment practices.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Advanced degree preferred).
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in machine learning or data science, with a proven track record of delivering ML projects in production.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with API development.
- Deep understanding of ML and deep learning concepts, with practical expertise in statistical inference, probability, and classical ML models (e.g., XGBoost, Logistic Regression).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with both technical and product stakeholders.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), function calling, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks like Spark.
- Practical knowledge of MLOps and best practices for continuous integration and deployment of ML models.
