Job Description: Paravet at Pet Point

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Animal Care**:

- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care and treatment to pets.
- Perform minor medical procedures like administering vaccines and medications under supervision.
- Conduct routine health checks and first aid for animals.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Guide pet owners on proper nutrition, grooming, and basic care for their pets.
- Address client queries and concerns about their pet's health and well-being.
- **Facility Maintenance**:

- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment and pet-care areas.
- Maintain and manage medical supplies and equipment.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate health and treatment records for all animals.
- Assist in inventory management of medications and medical supplies.
- **Support Activities**:

- Help during grooming sessions or procedures requiring restraint of animals.
- Support during pet adoption drives and events.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Certification or diploma in veterinary assistance or related field (preferred).
- Experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic, shelter, or pet-care setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle animals with care and compassion.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures.

**Work Environment**:

- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Availability to work weekends or holidays, as required.
