**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
- **Profit Ownership**: Take responsibility for the overall profitability of the machine shop, focusing on cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Manpower Management**: Lead, recruit, and train shop floor personnel. Monitor performance and optimize workforce allocation to meet production targets.
- **Vendor & Supplier Management**: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of raw materials and consumables. Negotiate prices and terms as needed.
- **Process Optimization**: Analyze and optimize machining processes to reduce cycle times, improve throughput, and minimize defects.
- **Cost Reduction**: Continuously look for ways to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving quality and production efficiency.
- **Customer Communication & Documentation**: Handle customer inquiries, manage customer-specific documentation (including PPAP), and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products as per customer requirements.
- **Quality Compliance**: Ensure adherence to quality standards and ISO processes. Lead ISO audits and PPAP documentation for customer approvals.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular reports on production performance, manpower utilization, machine uptime, and cost savings initiatives.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, understand machining processes, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- **Process Knowledge**: Deep understanding of machining operations, production planning, and process optimization.
- **Quality Management**: Experience with PPAP documentation, ISO auditing, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to manage and lead a team, drive performance, and foster a productive work environment.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication with both internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred), or equivalent technical qualification.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
