Warehouse Operations Associate

This role also requires expertise in BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, adherence to inventory management practices such as LIFO (Last In, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out), and experience in inbound and outbound logistics making Eway Bill and Invoice making as per challan. Leadership and team management skills are essential, along with the ability to implement Kaizen principles for continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Define and manage items in the warehouse, including SKU management, barcoding, and labeling.
- Oversee the inward and outward flow of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Ensure proper implementation of inventory control techniques, including LIFO and FIFO methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with BOM (Bill of Materials) standards for production and inventory alignment.
- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Implement Kaizen principles to continuously improve warehouse operations and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and procurement teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- **Team Management and Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training, motivation, and guidance.
- Set clear goals for the team and monitor performance to ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- **Logistics and Dispatch**:

- Plan and coordinate transportation and logistics for inbound deliveries and outbound shipments.
- Ensure accurate packing and labeling for dispatch to ensure timely delivery to customers or other facilities.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and vendors to ensure cost-effective and efficient service.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure the warehouse complies with health and safety regulations, and that all employees are trained in warehouse safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to reduce accidents and improve efficiency.
- **Reporting and Analytics**:

- Generate regular reports on inventory status, warehouse performance, and dispatch accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure warehouse operations align with company objectives.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management best practices, including BOM creation, LIFO/FIFO, and Kaizen principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcoding, labeling, and stock control software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage logistics, transportation, and dispatch processes effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
