**Responsibilities**:

- Meet with clients to understand their event goals and preferences, and develop event concepts and proposals that meet their needs
- Create event budgets and manage all aspects of event planning, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and logistics planning
- Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, florists, and photographers, to ensure that all event components are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop event timelines and production schedules, and ensure that all components of the event are executed according to plan
- Manage event staff and volunteers, and ensure that all personnel are properly trained and prepared for their roles
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on event planning progress, and to address any questions or concerns they may have
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract clients and build the company's event planning business
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and continuously improve event planning processes and procedures
- Manage post-event follow-up, including evaluation and analysis of event success, and the collection and analysis of client feedback
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors, and staff

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or professional setting
- Strong project management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage event logistics effectively
- Availability to work nights and weekends, as required by event schedules

**Salary**: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
