**Position**: Senior Specialist - Disaster Risk & Climate Resilience
**Location**: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh
**Organization**: Samvedna Development Society

**About the Role**:
We are hiring a committed and experienced professional to lead our work in disaster risk reduction and climate resilience. In this role, you will plan and manage projects that help vulnerable communities become safer, stronger, and more prepared for climate-related risks. You will also work with government agencies, donors, and technical teams to bring long-term impact through sustainable solutions.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Disaster Management, or Climate Studies
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in disaster management, risk reduction, environmental assessment, or climate resilience
- Must have worked on at least one major donor-funded project (such as AFD, ADB, or World Bank)
