**Full job description**

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech and Hearing Specialist to join our team. As a Speech and Hearing Specialist, you will work with individuals of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat various speech, language, and hearing disorders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and hearing abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and therapy techniques to improve communication and auditory skills.
- Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families to help them understand and cope with communication challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including audiologists, educators, and healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.
- Stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
- Clinical experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults, in various settings (e.g., schools, hospitals, private practice).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with communication disorders.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in clinical care.
