- **Helping with training**: Waiters may assist in hiring and training new waitstaff
- **Keeping the dining area clean**: Waiters may organize tables and keep the dining area clean and neat
- **Checking dishes**: Waiters may check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
