Production Supervisor

Qualification: BE or Diploma Chemical

Experience : 5 to 6 Yrs

Job location: Chakan

Industry preference : Chemical/Adhesives/ Coating/ Paints

**Key Responsibilities and Description**

The Lead Chemical Process Operator will be responsible for:

- Making the Company’s chemical Finished products using various blending and / or reaction processes according to Company Standard Operating Procedures and safety guidelines.
- Set-up and handling raw materials/chemicals, running and monitoring a time-sensitive chemical reaction process, and offloading hazardous finished goods in a safe manner.
- Initiating manufacturing of batches according to weekly/daily production plan.
- Carryout production as per written SOPs and process control procedures.
- Must be able to operate PLC panels and screens and have prior experience.
- Batching/weighing/sampling materials using the metric system.
- Posting of batches in ERP (Netsuite) on daily basis. Posting scrap on weekly basis. Monitor consumption of consumables.
- Fills in Batch manufacturing records for the production batches, managing and supervising operators and their activities. Record shift details in logbook.
- Verify whether all raw materials & intermediates received from stores are as product code, consignment number & quantity etc.
- Troubleshoot product and process related issues.
- Liaising with logistics and quality control for unloading of RMs and prompt shipment of finished product.
- Must be able to operate Forklift, Pallet trolleys, drum trolleys etc.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S at high level within the plant
- Update and train plant personnel on Safety and Operating procedures.
- Set up and maintain equipment to produce Finished goods.
- Collect and report on production data, including manufacturing process variables.
- Be responsible for monthly counting and reporting of chemical production related inventory.
- Be responsible for statistical process control for product manufacturing.
- Provide supervision for one or more other chemical process operators or other support staff.
- Follow Pellucere’s chemical safety protocols and standard operating procedures, and other instructions.
- Assist in improving the production process, including increased use of automation.
- Assist in continuous improvement of Environmental Health and Safety Processes.
- Be responsible for updating and maintaining Environmental Health and Safety Documentation and related Standard Operating Procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
