**What it's about**

Key Responsibilities:

- Account Management: Manage settings at the account and organization level, including notifications and user management.
- RBAC Maintenance: Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and access rights.
- Database Administration: Configure warehouses, databases, and other objects. Manage development, UAT, and production environments.
- CI/CD Infrastructure: Work with DevOps to maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure.
- Cost Management: Manage virtual warehouses, scaling, and usage transparency. Oversee the management of credits and cost optimization.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage data retention policies, backup tasks, and disaster recovery plans.
- Security: Enforce network policies and data share policies.
- Monitoring: Monitor performance, resources, and errors. Provide an overview of errors and alerts.

**What we expect**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and best practices.
- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and user management.
- Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SnowPro Certification for Administrator
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Snowflake.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes. Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data security practices.
