**Job Title: Weigh Scale Operator**
**Experience : 6+ Years (4+ years of Relevant Experience)**
**Should have Mining & International Experience**

**Purpose**: Responsible for operating and maintaining weigh scale equipment to ensure accurate measurement of materials and goods entering and exiting a facility. This role involves recording weights, managing related documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The operator plays a key role in maintaining efficient and accurate operations within the facility.

**Responsibilities**:
**Weighing Operations**:
Operate weigh scale equipment to accurately measure the weight of incoming and outgoing materials.
Ensure the correct placement of vehicles and materials on the scale for precise measurements.
Verify and record the weight of goods, materials, and vehicles.

**Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
Enter weight data into the computer system accurately and promptly.
Maintain detailed records of all weighments, including date, time, vehicle identification, and material type.
Generate and distribute weight tickets and other required documentation.

**Customer Service**:
Interact professionally with drivers, suppliers, and customers during the weighing process.
Provide clear instructions and assistance to ensure smooth and efficient weighing operations.
Address any inquiries or concerns related to the weighing process.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure all weighing operations comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of weigh scale equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

**Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**:
Identify and resolve issues with the weigh scale equipment or weighing process.
Report any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems.

**Operational Support**:
Assist with the coordination of vehicle traffic within the facility to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of materials.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.

**Over All & Relevance Experience**:
Previous experience as a weigh scale operator or in a similar role preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
Understanding of weight measurement principles and practices.
Familiarity with weigh scale equipment and software.
