The IUI Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, particularly intrauterine insemination (IUI). The role includes preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians, coordinating care, providing patient education, and ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and professionally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care & Support**:

- Prepare patients physically and emotionally for IUI and related procedures.
- Provide emotional support and counseling during fertility treatments.
- Educate patients about the IUI process, medications, post-procedure care, and follow-up protocols.
- **Clinical Duties**:

- Assist physicians during IUI procedures.
- Collect, label, and transport specimens according to clinic protocols.
- Administer fertility medications and monitor for side effects or reactions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately.
- Perform routine nursing assessments and interventions.
- **Coordination & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems.
- Coordinate with lab and medical teams to ensure timely processing of samples.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate results to patients as appropriate.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Adhere to infection control standards and clinical protocols.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized and maintained.
- Comply with all regulatory and ethical standards for fertility care and nursing practice.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license [or equivalent, based on country regulations].
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in women’s health, fertility, or related field.
- Previous experience with IUI, IVF, or reproductive procedures is an asset.
- BLS/CPR certification.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment.
- Familiarity with reproductive health terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
